She took it as well as she could have, considering, but she's going to have it rough for a while. She's tough, but... it doesn't mean she can't be hurt. Badly.

It's like I said before. There are some things we can't change. We just have to find the right way to go about living with it, and figuring that out... takes some time, can also hurt... all that.

Petty, a little vindictive--there was a point where she didn't quite believe it, asked if I was saying it to punish her.

[definitely some witchy behavior happened and he looks a little conflicted and miserable about it.]

... I tried to be kind about it, but maybe the kinder thing was to do it even quicker. I tried to do better than I have done before, but... it probably still isn't enough. And I'm not even the one she would have wanted to hear it from in the first place.
